Sea Otter ST on a CX bike???

What's the Otter ST like? Rough? Steep? Could I do it on my cross bike? I've been to the Otter before to race DH but I didn;t take the opportunity to check out the ST course. I don;t own a XC mountain bike so it's the cross bike or I don;t race it at all.

I wouldn't do it on a cross bike. There are a few hairpin corners plus a really fast sweeping right-hand turn, other than that, a few bumpy sections. However, that's just me. If you have pretty good handling skills, Travis Brown raced his 9.8 hardtail with carbon aero-rimmed tubulars with cross tires last year in the short track.
