Ok, given the choice, which would you spend your hard earned money on?
I've seen the Go-Rides in person. Very nice....
I've only seen the Risse crowns on their web-site. Looks like the clamp areas could do some decent knee damage. Good price though....
Haven't even looked at Zocchi's offering. I understand there are some issues with tire rub under full compression, and they're the most expensive of the bunch....

I have the lower Go-Ride crown so I could mount the fork to my large frame. It's very well made.
Now if we can get Go-Ride to make replacement lowers for the fork. ;)

I had Risse's and like them, but yes, it can cause some carnage on the knees if you're not wearing pads. It's a good buy if you don't wanna spend the $ on the other 2.

Get the newer Go-ride set, with integrated stem if you want the full pimp set-up. Not sure but I don't think either of the others is doing a stem.
The Go-ride guys know what they're doing, they are all riders and came up with a real-world solution to fill the gaps left by 'Zoke in what is an otherwise great product. Throw in the great 888 tuning article and the NORBA bounty and it's an easy call. Maybe I'm a sucker but I'm convinced they're doing for the right reasons.
Like Sinead said, nothing compares. :p :p
The only negative is that if nobody buys any from Zoke, Brian P will look at the sales figures and say "See, I told you, nobody is buying these therefore I was right, the stock crowns work fine!" :eviltongu :eviltongu

Oops, I just re-read your post. Did you mean to say "flat crowns"? You want to lower the ride height, correct? If so, Go-ride. If you want something else, please clarify.

I love my Marzocchi flat crowns...nothing wrong with them! Love em. They look pimp...and say MARZOCCHI in red letters which is evil....

Hmmm.... I guess I won't vote on this.... I am running the stock crowns...
OG.. I must say, I haven't had much of a problem selling our flat crowns... And those numbers haven't gone unnoticed..

Marzocci's look similar, but you cannot lower them all the way. The guys ag Go-Ride did a ton of homework on the product and the finished product shows this. BTW MannyUT did all the stress calculations so you know they will be strong and safe.

Thanks guys, but no free t-shirts for any of you. :D
I know this will probably come back to bite me in the ass at some point, but in all honesty, if you don't have the fork already, I don't have any problem suggesting the Marzo crowns with the fork since you'll save some cash buying them on the fork new, just remember that you can't run them all the way at the min line or there's contact between the lower crown and the brake arch.
I mean, um, buy ours, they are off the sicktor.

Rich, go w/ Go-Ride with integrated stem for full pimtor status X infinity to the nth power.
I would say Marzo but I know you already have the fork so getting a works is not an option.
