How many riders in last years tour?

188 -- one guy crashed out before the prologue and they couldn't replace him.

21 teams of 9 were suppose to start.

That rider was Matt White...it was supposed to be his first TdF but in warmup he hit some obstacle, crash landed on his face and had to be taken to the hospital. Some dude sitting at home on his couch got the call and did replace him for the race! LOL can you imagine?

Still, it looks like there was only 188 riders.
