Okay this should be in Tech/Mechanics, but since it's a roadie specific thing, figured I'd ask here first
Here's my dilemma: Friend's 9spd Sora rear shifter is only getting 2 shifts. Took it apart (that's fun :help: ) and realized why. The little rachet piece is broken, which leads me to 2 questions:
1. Does anyone have an old, non-functioning 9spd shifter I could get for cheap. I just need that little piece.
2. Does anyone have any idea on how to get the return springs (between the shifter mechanism and the lever) back into place. That's stumping me at the moment, and I figured maybe somebody else had an idea.
