probably should elaborate. 180mm for hope minis. Is this the same as 7" rotors from other makers? Will any 180mm rotor work?

What you'll need to keep in mind is actual braking surface (where the pads contact the rotor. Whats wrong with Hope rotors?

Yup, if its the still the same supplier as a few years back, then that supplier isn't what you'd call reliable, stable or possibly even trustworthy.
Mail order away, you'll get it faster, cheaper and with less hassle. I got all my Hope spares exUK mail order, then got sick of it and ride shimano now.

Cheers Joe, I actually just got a returned email. Only one of my questions were answered though. Any suggestions for online shops that wont sting me $20 postage for a rotor? :)

I know this may be a bit late but I usually tried to wait till some mates and I had a reasonable size order to go, and always kept a stash of spares on hand. Yep, freight is a nasty monster and most places are gonna hit you for a small one off shipment.
What size do you need? For what set up? Some things I've tried
Shimano rotors work reasonably well for enduros or DH04's if you got 205mm rotors, you could try Avid discs if you've got 185mm rotors.
Older school ones like the C2 work ok with magura rotors, they make a wide range of sizes too. Old Hopes require a wider area on the braking face than the newer ones which tend to be elongated pads rather than short and square.
Never tried Hayes rotors or the smaller shimano ones although I figure if the diameter is right and the swept area is similar go a cheaper more available alternative.
My biggest problem was Hope biggin hubs and their five bolt pattern...AAAAHHH!!! That and that lovely 155mm rotor for the hope universal rear brake with the torque arm that bolted onto the v brake boss.
All I can say now is thankfully my girl is Canadian and I my brother in law lives in the UK.
