Currently running Arrow DHXs, but have recently been considering trying out a lighter wheel setup. I would lose over 200 grams per wheel by going with the MTXs. We all know that the DHX is probably one of the baddest rims ever built, but I think I am overkilling the wheel area, as I have yet to flatspot, dent or even break a spoke, so I think I can get away with a lighter duty rim. No downhill, but big hucks, urban, and now some new trails with boulders and buried rocks.
I am skeptical of the MTX because SR has them listed as a 4X rim, not a DH rim.

Ive had great luck with mine. The drop to flat that killed my 823 on the first try has been hit about 8 times with the MTX and not even a flatspot. Mine also made it through northstar without going out of true or flatspotting. I recommend them.

I would recommend them as well. Almost a full season of racing and they are still going strong. They survived racing at Tahoe, Mammoth, Durango, Big Bear, Mexico and Sea Otter  .
