What do you guys think of the flyer? In the past it has always been 2-3 colors and no fancy graffics

Had I not already some extremely expensive hobbies, I would definitely be into dirt bikes. Looks like a blast!

i have an 02 250 exc fourstroke. the tank is pretty small, but maybe it could make 50 miles. im pretty sure it couldn't do the 100 though

i seem to remeber back in the day there used to be 100 mile mt bike races , they were mostly on fire roads but had some nifty downhill sections it would be cool to go and do this moto cross rally thing on a fully suspended freeride bike and see how many days it takes set up rally points and stuff like that. with all the new full suspension anti bob tech. u might just be able to get that done in two days , maybe someone should put one of those kinda events on for next year or is there one this year :?

Most everyone fills up before going out on the second loop. Not many dirt bikes, that people want to race, can go 100+ miles on a tank of gas.

(Dual Sport bikes are excluded becuase no one would want to race them :D And even the Baja bikes have pit stops)

You wouldn't even need a new tank....I would still carry a quart of gas (in a oil bottle) to make sure you can make a 50 miles. You have a odometer, don't you? See how far it can go. Then figure that a desert race pace will cut that range back some. :)

The Poker Run is a relaxed trail ride pace and you get the same course (+/- a small sections)

If you are interested in checking it out ride the poker run.

per the flyer: the font used in the detail/info windows is brutal on the eyes. it may just be because im looking at a digital version and not a printout, but online it actually is an eye sore.

the colors...ehhh not my cup of tea....it is clean and has more info on it than you could ask for :) its much much better than what I expected though...

enjoy the event!

enjoy the event! You are right. I haven't seen the printed flyers yet but they are on HUGE paper. I don't know bigger than 11X16" maybe that helps. The flyers themselves are always full of info....because people are not the brightest when it comes to events. Most of the info you need for the weekend is on there.

No way we would get away with the minimalistic flyers I see other group put out. THis is a big weekend and it needs all that info.

I need a printed copy that we send to the motorcycle shops.

It is just a lot more that has happened in the past as far as graphics and design.

well that makes sense and explains the font sizing/choice...

at that size printed, it would look shiny and fun :)

hopefully someone will get some good shots from the event and post em up *hint hint* :)
