I'm riding my fixie. its an old mercier. probably a good 25 years old at least. its just too small for me. I'm looking for a steel frame, but i guess it doesn't have to be steel. 54 to a 56 frame size. with horizontal dropouts. with or without fork. but I'm wanting to posibly put a carbon fork on the front.
If you have one. let me know. I'm not wanting to spend too much. but show me some pictures and what you want for it.
Oh ya, as for color, if its a cool paintjob, that's fine. color isn't a big deal. black is always cool, but whatever.
Cheers!

eBay is littered with old steel frames, do a search for track frame.

Damn. I have a 1999 Raleigh R700 (the last year Raleigh made the frames in the USA...cool paint job too) that I'm thinking about replacing with a Santa Cruz frame. It's a regular roadie though, not with horizontal dropouts. I'd sell that thing pretty cheap, and include a carbon fork.

Is it a 56-57cm? If not, don't worry about.... which steel is that? Any stress, particular on the fork? How old is the fork?

I don't beleive the R700 was made with steel tubes...
