Bush asks for a few more billion to spend on war

within a week

Gosh darnit! Another terror threat!!! Quick, everybody run hard, they're gonna get us.

It really is starting to become ludicrous how they use the terror meter to their own advantage to cow shivering americans who don't sit and wonder why we have SO many terror threats occurring in such a consistent manner...almost like they're trying to draw attention away from one thing and onto another...

lol...I think our government officials all went to acting school at some point.

hahaha - I don't watch TV - my magic box is hooked only up to my dvd player. :D I saw this when I went to check my email...they have a news thingy there and it flashed up.

The terror meeting (and again, I don't watch TV, so this is coming from sources like morning radio), I think is something like colors representing our "terror awareness" and there are 5 levels....

Good
mostly good
alert
very alert
panic mode

;) Okay, I made up what the 5 levels are called. Perhaps someone here has more information? I just think it's funny the flashing news alerts I get shortly after bush asks for money.

The 'threat' levels are named after characters from Sesame St. - Elmo Alert is the worst, it means you're about to be bombed by your own government again to remind you what it's like to be scared of arabs.

Besides the entire terror threat, what bugs me about this is how the Bush Admin neglects to include this money (what is it, 86b?) in their budget proposal. Wtf?

Hopefully they don't get confused with a metric terrorometer...
