Rebuilding my Jamis Eureka

Hello everyone, This might be my first post...
Anyway rebuilding my Jamis Eureka over the winter.
Got the frame powder coated translucent blue and it looks bad arz!
I am going to upgrade from hayes mechanical discs to hydros.
What does everyone think of the Hope mini mono's?
Price is definitly a consideration.
I am a 215lb rider, 41 yrs old, so I am not doing anything too crazy.
I do like to jump and ride urban, with some XC thrown in.
I want a brake that is more powerful and has more modulation that the
mechanicals.

Hope's are the best thing out there. I have the Mono mini's on my Enduro SX, and they are the ****. Its 1 finger braking all the time. The have fantastic modulation, but stop u on a dime when u need them to. I only weigh 160lbs tho. For someone ur size and weight, u may want to comsider the Mono M4's. Hope's may be the most expensive thing out there, but there worth every pennny. All my frind that have switched from Hayes say the same thing. Plus, there are those gold pieces on the caliper, theres nothing more pimp that gold.

You know whats hard to find parts for, my C'Dale Jekyll 900 SL which is filled with CODA parts. I still am running the 4-bolt pattern disc on there...

The hopes definitly sound sweet and they get a lot of good reviews.

What about Avid Juicy 7's? They use regular dot 4 or 5 fluid plus they also have a little bling about them.

Anyone use the avids first hand?
