De LaVeaga Land Swap?

Ok, I was watching the City Counsil meeting on TV last night and during the oral communication portion, there were a few people that were speaking to some "Land Swap" deal with the National Guard. Apparently, there is some law that was passed by the Counsill that would allow the N.G. to "reclaim" the Frisbee Golf course and some surrounding areas.

Not to sound alarmist, especially as I haven't had time to research to entire scope of the project, but my initial reaction was "Holy crap! Here we go again, more potential trail losses."

If anybody has any additional info, post it up here so the community can be informed.

Ok, found some basic info on the Bill passed regarding the issue. (It is getting long in the tooth, but still out there none the less.) Seems pretty unlikely to happen, but you never know now days.
