Are there any good websites that expain the differences between air and coil forks/shocks? Or how either work? I need resources for a report, so any help would be appreciated.

Start looking at some good tech manuals for each type, preferrably with blow-up diagrams of the internals. I know the avalanche website has some good internal pics.
