Wrist Pictures...6 Months Post Op

I took some pictures of my wrist tonight. It's been 6 months since the accident and surgery. The picts aren't the greatest, since I took them myself, but they show my range of motion and my "beechin" scar. I illustrated some of them too!

Everyday. Once a week with my Therapist, and a couple times a day on my own. The good news is I'm still gaining range, nothings stuck yet. I've gained 10 degrees of flexion in the last 6 weeks. So, my doctors are still optomistic that it will gain some more function. There's still is a small part of my scaphoid that hasn't filled in yet. That could be a problem but it's about 85% fused. I'm having another CT on it in 6 weeks (my 7th total) to see if it's still growing or not. So the fingers are crossed (as much as they will cross these days!).

Keep up the PT and don't be in too much of a hurry to get back on the bike. I started riding again a month ago and (as usual) pushed too hard. Now I have to back off and start wearing my brace at night again. stupid, stupid, stupid.
