So it's Thursday night. I arranged my schedule to always have Fridays off...so I could ski..

My roomates are getting ready to go shred tommorow...I'm laid up on the couch still awaiting surgery...man I wish I would have overslept last Friday and missed out on getting hurt. (see related thread, I broke the #*@ out of my ankle.)

Anybody have any advice for me to get my mind off things...this must be what it's like coming off of heroin or maybe worse.

well prozac isnt what you want. the sexual side effects would be rough on a stallion such as yourself. plus they say anti-depressants are driving more teens to suicide than ever before.

though im not one to do this, i would suggest that you "drown your sorrows" preferably in the context of many other people around doing roughly the same thing.

The break isn't a big deal, it's the cartalidge I lost. It takes FOREVER to grow. no walking for 6 more weeks, then a boot for a few, then tranistion to walking...i asked him about being near 100 percent by mid-may and he wasn't too optimistic...i'm so depressed...at least i got laid last night

David, I do have you on incision length and gnarness. How long total has it taken? 16 weeks? Funny how right when you get better I get broken...you know whatever you do I will end up doing just a few months later...maybe not exact but pretty damn close...

no, but i got 2 ginormous screws, 1 incision so big they kept the skin and re-attached it, and my hardware stays...and they pulled out a 1cm by 1cm chunk of bone, and same size peice of cartalidge, you should see it...all for about 10 degrees of twist of my right ski..otherwise i'm fine...did you have to put your hand in a machine 8 hours a day for 4 weeks? How about PT? exaccctly...
