DH forum....hmmm, no bikes though-sorry.
Anyways...the supercross is in San Fran this weekend, they are doing the annual supercross crossover but with one change, racing minibikes. So lopes has been practicing in his backyard track. No more bikes on the back yard track-too much maintence on the crap dirt-so its moto time.
Here is a vid from today at the house on Transworld MX site...he is riding with joel albrecht who the big dawg at 2 brothers racing (where Cully is the sales manager) and is Jeremy Albrechts brother (Bubbas MX mechanic).
Woopee doo right?
enjoy

My in-laws are buying an 8 acre avacado farm out in Temecula/Fallbrook and they said I could build some trails on it if I wanted.
:thumb: Maybe I'll make a little 50cc course instead.

Lopes is the one NOT wearing FOX gear, Lopes is in gear with Oakley "O"s on him. Albrechts bike is a klx110 modded out to the hilt with 2 bros. stuff.

WEll the Crossover challenge was a big disappointment for me because the little 110's they were riding were to slow for the course and the riders had to take the triples one-at-a-time etc. The regular racing action was great as usual though. I snapped a few quick-and-dirty shots from our seats just for the hell of it even though our photographer Kai was on the track with a press pass getting much better shots.
FWIW Lopes was winning the crossover until the beginning of the 3rd lap when he lost it in the whoops. Bummer :( I may have a pic or two I can post soon of Lopes...
Until then here are a few shots of the racing action.

Yeah, he told me it was funner last year on the big bikes, they had to ride bone stock (well, bars and springs were added) 110's so wasnt easy. Cully got 2nd though so good for him. Victor Sheldon who wins that event every year won again. Lopes was 4th after his whoops bobble and Lawwill was 5th! Way to go MTBers!!!

Are you holding out on info or did I miss something? Lopes get dropped by Fox? Maybe MC should hook him up with the guys over at Parts Unlimited. I have never seen anyone on a bicycle sponsored by Thor.
And on that note since I know Lopes is old time buddies with MC, tell MC to keep racing. None of this "part time" stuff, I want to see "Show Time". He can still beat the kids.
And for you mini lovers, check out the SDG speed mini's. I have been running mine for a couple of months and they are a blast. I wonder how long the neighbors willl put up with it once the snow melts and I get the track in. My yard is way too small for my YX250F, but a mini track wil be fun.

I could be wrong but i think Brian switched to Oakley last year. Haro is sponsored by Thor.

I know the Oakley stuff is supposed to be understated but it just looks plain neutered to me. it actually looks kinda Wal-Mart.

Thats rad. I went to Arena Cross a few weeks ago in CT and they had an "Adult 50" class. Only a couple had the larger motors. Still funny as hell.
