Sandhill 1/16

So, markk and I headed up to Sandhill on Sunday. It was in pretty good shape. The parking lot was a little muddy but the actual riding area was fine. I asked them what the latest was with the lawsuit. Sounds like they're in arbitration right now. I got the feeling that they thought they would be able to work it out so they don't have to close. Let's hope so. Looks like they're still planning races (http://www.prsports.com/bike/race.php?type=12&title=Races) this year, so that's probably a good sign.

Anyway, after getting our butts kicked in the mtn-x and DS courses, we spent most of the rest of the time on the various drops and jumps, and playing around with the camera. Here are a few gratuitous photos.

I wish it was closer to SC. The "freeride" area could use alot of shovel work. I'd like to go back some time and learn how to ride the mountain X course better. If you haven't been there you should check it out.
