WTB Laserdisc hubs

Anyone know much about these? I've had em for about 3 years and they've served me very well. I'm about ready to retire the bike, but was thinking about using them to build up a wheelset for another bike (they are disc ready, so it would save me some cash).

Can they be serviced? Is it reasonable to hope for another 3 years out of them, or should I scrap them and start over? FWIW... they have seen their fair share of mud/water when riding.

Any thoughts?

Doublecheck the spoke holes... If they're not damaged/ovalized, your hubs are probably fine: they can always be serviced. I don't know of any hub on the market that can't have its freehub serviced.

If the bearings are gritty, just pop out the old cartridge bearings and pop in some new ones.
