Anyone one know how muddy it is up there, I've never been up there after alot of rain, and wondering how mud ready i should be for the race.

If your comming north (north of Santa Barbara) I dunno if you'll ever make it there without a long re-route. The freeway is closed around the Rincon area do to a nasty mudslide. North is pretty retarded too. Roads closed everywhere.

If you're going from somewhere closer to Fontana I don't think it should be all that bad. I'd call and make sure they are still putting a race on because of the conditions. It's drying out but it's not like it's 80 degree's outside.

Before the last race it rained all night and in the morning the dirt was perfect. It's more sand than clay and doesn't really cake up on your tires. There may be puddles in some spots but for the most part it will be probably be dry.

The only section that won't be fun would be the wall..... All the stuff up on the hill will probably be sweet...

Yeah, I figured the wall would be pretty bad, it was puddled after the Fall Classic.

The winter courses are usually more techi than the fall one right? The fall race almost felt like a sprint Super D.

I'm pretty bummed I wont be able to make it. Mudslides and road closures are preventing me from getting there.

Anyone seen the 4x track? Need to talk them into putting in some lights so we could have it Sat night and not have to eat into the DH practice.

I'm not going this weekend but will be there for the races in Feb. I'm working down in Riverside for nearly a month... the bike's coming with me. :)

I'm looking forward to hearing what the DH is like.
