Millions are still at risk of starvation and disease in SE Asia. It would be great if you could send even a few dollars to help the relief efforts. Amazon.com is taking donations for the American Red Cross and has already collected almost five million dollars.

Or you can help survivors and their families by making monetary donations to these organizations

as a side note, amazon has already collected $4,928,170.33 - and if you already have an account set up with them it is painless!

they were saying in an AP release this morning that as far as help goes they do need money. Food and medical supplies are in demand as in any other natural disaster but the cost of shipping supplies there is what is eating them up. So give them some money dammit!I would if i had some.

MtnBikerChk and I made a donation through UNICEF. It's not much in the grand scheme of things, but I am sure it will help.

It all adds up - look at amazon's total!
And Biggins is right - they are desperate for money more than anything. $50 goes a long way in a place like that...

Wow they had over a million in donations since I posted this 6 hours ago. I think most of that was from Monkeys. Good job Monkeys!
