saint rear derail. questions

ive got an azonic recoil (non replaceable hanger) with 12mm thru axle. anyways i was wondering if my hanger ever snapped, instead of buying a 300 dollar swingarm, if i could have a machine shop make me an axle that could hold a saint rear deraileur. any thoughts?

I'm sure you could do it. Shimano is releasing a 12mm Saint axle though soon so if that would work, just wait for that. As long as your dropout didn't get too fubared you should be good if that ever happens...

but are they releasing a 150X12 mm axle? thats what ive got.

I'm sure they are. The idea is to fit more DH bikes and a lot of DH bikes are 150mm.
