Anybody have any tips for tuning a platform shock on a 4x bike.
I have a Turner Rail with a Swinger 3-way on it. Just wondering how much sag you run and how much SPV pressure. I set it up pretty firm with 180 psi in the main and 150 psi in the SPV. It felt good. Not wallowing around in the travel but still used most of it when I 50/50ed a stepdown.
Am I missing anything?
Damn, thats a lot of SPV pressure! I run 70PSI in my 4.5" travel Hollowpoint MTX. Pedals like a rocket and soaks up the bumps. I run 25-33% sag. Thats about it, nothing special as far as setup goes really.

T, I wanna try out your new ride! its an option for me....or a hollowpoint?! hmmm...I need a good 4X bike this year! Where did oyu take it out too? (step down?)

Yeah, the stepdown landing. :p
The 4.5" on the Rail does tend to bottom out on small stuff, even with a PUSHed Fox. The good news is that the frame is burly enough to take the hit. Keep an eye on the pivot by the BB. These tend to develop play/flop despite keeping the bolt tight.

Damn, I didn't miss it. I just came up about a foot short on my first try. It was one of the bigger ones at SST. I missed you down there on Sun. I showed up after you left.
Forget the hollowpoint bibs. My dad bought one. I rode it. Great trail bike, but I think the rail would suit you better. Especially given your, er, presence on a bike. Ride it, you'll see
