hey a buddy and myself are going to be in the poconos area 11-17 of dec is there any worthwhile trails, xc or DH ( big bike friendly )

Not sure about DH trails, but yes there are some XC Trails. You would have to contact the Blue Mountain Sports bike shop to see if they are still open though (call 1-800-599-4421). Here's a linky with info:
