New Jersey Mtb Race Is Gone.???

Spoke to a friend over the weekend, i he mentioned to me that the Race at allaire state park ever year for the last 19 years has ended.? :confused:
any one know about this.? what happend? why? the promoter will not run anymore thier.??

my understanding is, rider turn out has gone down over the years and the lack of interest in xc racing in that area..
