xtr caliper: something seems to be missing

just noticed yesterday that my rear caliper doesn't have the rubber cap any more that covers the little hole on the caliper, the front has one which you can flip off......sorry abbout all the technical jargon ;) shoulda taken a pic.

what's it for ?
can I get a replecment?
what will happen if it stays open ?

Thats the dust cover for the bleed bolt (Whatever it's called)

You can get a replacment, But why?

Nothing, Its just a dust cover, it falls off after a few rides anyway..........
