Can you pretty much put the lower crown/steerer up where you want it ?
To rake it out ...
Seems like it is slightly thinner above the 7" height area ?

I'd check out the Marzocchi manual to see how far up or down you can position the crowns. Those thicker areas are there for a reason.

theres a line on the stantions that shows the min height you can put the crown. anywhere above that is fine
