View Full Version : Who's had a Bitch????
I have a '01 KHS Bitch I am building up and I am trying to figure out what size seat post I need. 30.9 squeezes in a ways but it's WAY too tight.....not sure if dropping down to a 30.8 will do it????
I know it's a long shot since it's not a frame you see a lot but does anybody have an idea??
Thanks.... :monkey:

Seems odd to me that you can force a 30.9 in a 30.4 hole. Get some digital calipers and measure it to be on the safe side.
I was thinking the same, I am imagining that person had a 30.4 in there and could get the clamp tight enough to make it hold.......but the proper seat post size for the Bitch is likely 30.8 or 30.6

My bike has a 30.4 seatpost and it slid in easy. I thought for sure it was too small so I tried a 30.9, but it wouldn't fit at all.
30.4 sucks. All I can find as a replacement is a kalloy.
Wumpus, Thomson makes a 30.8

yep, need to find somebody with one to give it a try.
I've also thought about just going the shim route.

Who's had a Bitch????
I've been married 24 years, does that count? :sneaky:
:mumble:
Well I got my hands on a 30.8 today and it didn't really fit any better than the 30.9.........so it looks like it is defintly going to be a 30.6 or indeed a 30.4
