Oh, yea, this is near the San Francisco Bay Area, in CA. Im reminded of how big these united states are.

i have been to a forest called "demonstration forest" that is at the top of hwy 17. is this the same one???

No, its not that one. This one is more removed. Its in lake county, a little south of clear lake.
