The main diff between good BC trails and bad PNW trails is BC uses cedar, and we tend to use lumber yard fir that grows a nice slick slime on it in no time.......

Good cedar is hard to find, people dig up old growth stumps of trees that were logged a hundred years ago for shakes for roofing.
Maybe Oly has some good cedar growin in that huge yard of his... :sneaky: :p

No cedar... had to burn those down to make room for my weed field. (mostly scotchbroom) haha.

Sometimes you have to use lumber, just chicken wire it. Cedar is sweet though if you have it.
