Well, they don't have a review of Team America up yet, so I clicked over to the one for South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut.
I forgot how funny this is...I've never heard a definitive answer on whether or not this is a joke site or not. It's either brilliant parody, or it's scary, and I don't know which.

AHAHAHAHAHA
I was raised in a highly conseravtive protestant christian enviornment where people take this sh1t seriously, and this review just reinforces my opinion that christians have managed to make themselves one of the stupidest and most humorless groups there is. This guy OBVIOUSLY missed all the points made in the south park movie, most of which were things a christian should agree with. Lets point out a few aspects he missed, the film is scathingly anit-racist and anti-violence, it ends with kenny's christ-like sacrifice to prevent to suffering of humanity, and if christians would pull their head out of their asses, they would realize that the main point of the movie, that "naughty words" are a stupid thing to get upset about, is completely true. Team America, which is pure genious, is sure to get similar reviews, despite the truth of its contents.

Hi-larious
SEX/NUDITY 9 - Please note that all the characters are marionettes, thus some detail is limited with respect to body parts and sexual activity:
they have a South Park review too (http://www.kids-in-mind.com/s/southparkbigger99.htm)

Shaved or bushy, maybe?
You think the 'christians' that 'have' to watch these shows 'to protect the children' actually enjoy them?
you know damm well there will be stuff in there you won't approve of and if a movie has anything over a "G" rating, you shouldn't be letting your kids see it anyways. this is just their way of watching the movies that everyone else is watching.

I was wondering exactly how many times they had to watch that movie in order to pick up every little last detail. Also wonder about those people who listen to Howard Stern to look for problems... I think that they might enjoy their job a little too much.

It's very real. He has something like 900 films reviewed... no one devotes that kind of fanaticism as a joke. Freaks. They're total freaks.

I wonder if the religious groups who watch these kinds of movies sit there and never laugh at anything, or if at sometime during the flick they let out a little chuckle once in a while.

Hmm, I've read this thread just after DT's diatribe against Liberals-lacking-a-sense-of-humour thread. So clearly the site must be a spoof, no conservative could be that stiff, could they? Really?

Well having been raised a conservative, I can tell you that the people that do these surveys have to watch it atleast 25 times to catch it all. I've seen it about 50 times (and it never gets old) and I still notice new things in there. Besides, it's a freakin cartoon for adults. Take your 5 yr old to see this and you need help.

seriously, if the "critics" think that it is being watched by children, then it isn't the problem of the people who made the movie, its the problem of the parents who should be regulating what their "precious" children are watching. Its not like the children wont be subjected to this type of humor elsewhere in their lives.
Hooray for South Park!! :thumb: :eviltongu
