I am selling my bike (on mtbr) but I never authorized nor told anybody to sell it on ebay. I just typed it into the ebay search and MY BIKE CAME UP!

Has this happened to anyone else? I am sort of curious to see how much it goes for!

It seems to be always from the U.K. We should ask him questions and have him take pics of the other side of the bike. Ha,Ha.

I remember the same thing happened to powderboy's RFX. Only he wasn't selling.

Maybe the e-bay seller is hoping to get more than you're asking on mtbr and is going to keep the delta.

Sad thing is that e-mailing e-bay will de list this one, but it wont matter as they will be back under a new account name in no time at all doing the same thing. Good thing you guys noticed this one at least so you messed up this listing. No doubt though some people go all the way and get screwed....

Busted.

Please don't hate me, though. My father is a very wealthy king in our country. He was recently thrown into prison by rebels and we desperately need money to break him out again. Please donate to this cause and I promise that you will be repaid tenfold once he regains his throne...

I emailed him with an offer on the RM ETSX-50.

Dearest idiotilor2004,

I will be willing to buy your 2004 Rocky Mountain ETSX-50 at the said amount of 1700GBP. As regards payment, this is what i am going to do, I have a client in the Europe who is owing me 3500GBP, I will instruct him to make out a cheque to you. Although the value of the cheque is more than the price of the 2004 Rocky Mountain ETSX-50 I think, I should be able to trust you with my balance. The reason why i am doing this is that it would take a check sent from over here in the U.S. 30days to clear over there, whereas a check sent from within Europe would clear tops within 48hrs. So I will expect that you send my balance to my shipping agent through Western Union Money Transfer immediately you receive payment for the 2004 Rocky Mountain ETSX-50. The shipper will then come to your location pick up after you must have sent the money to them. So if my terms are acceptable to you, I would like you to give me your full name, address and phone numbers so that I can instruct my client to make out the check to you. Pls get back to me as soon as you get this mail so that I can know my stand in regards to the 2004 Rocky Mountain ETSX-50 purchase.

God bless you and your family. Have a great day.
