I have a mostly used up Answer M6 moto helmet. I crash once good and it saw several (6 maybe) years of use, before I got it and afterwards. Still in excellent condition, but it may smell a little. The visor tab broke off but otherwise it's complete.
Willing to donate this to any aspiring downhiller who doesn't have a lot of cash. It has some life in it and should protect your dome from a nasty spill, but if you're getting fast I'd go ahead and buy a real helmet that hasn't been wrecked in, just for safety's sake.
